Project description
Heterogeneous learning groups and conflicts require effective emotion and conflict regulation by teachers. Through the innovative combination of MR and sensor technologies, the necessary socio-emotional competencies are to be trained realistically and evaluated afterwards. The teacher participates in the simulated training scenarios in the form of an avatar, and students are represented by autonomous agents with the help of AI. Speech analysis and synthesis will be used to simulate the interactive virtual agents, in addition to social signal analysis. The training thus optimally supports the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals in the areas of “Quality Education” and “Reduced Inequalities”.
