MRS trains first responders in virtual reality

The Medical Retrieval Service GmbH uses i:medtasim

On 15.09.2021, the handover of the highly immersive multi-user VR learning environment i:medtasim to the MRS training centre in Michelbach an der Bilz took place.

From now on, the VR software i:medtasim will be used as a supplementary training method in the rescue service training courses. In order to successfully guide the trainees to the training objective with a future-oriented mix of methods, both the VR and the desktop version are used in Michelbach and Rosengarten in the district of Schwäbisch Hall.

Managing Director Ingo Kempinski took part in the introductory day himself and was enthusiastic:

“I had been looking for a multi-user VR environment for our training centre project for a long time. With TriCAT GmbH and the product i:medtasim, I found exactly what I was looking for in all respects and what corresponds to my idea of future-oriented training.”

Highly motivated, the team started the technical introduction and the “train-the-trainer” course. In the last few weeks, the lecture hall specially designated for VR training was equipped with the appropriate hardware. All preparations have also been made for the mobile use of i:medtasim.

MRS – Medical Retrieval Service GmbH – is active in the areas of rescue services, patient transport and medical services worldwide as well as training in the medical field. In addition to these core areas, MRS focuses on environmental protection, sustainability and digital innovations.
