On November 12 and 13, 2025, the HIMA Group held the international 3D conference “HIMA FUN SAFE” in the virtual 3D learning and work environment TriCAT spaces®. Around 120 students from colleges and universities in Germany, Switzerland, Singapore, Canada, the USA, Czechia, Saudi Arabia, and Great Britain took part under the motto “Digitization of Functional Safety.”
Project Objectives
Practical introduction of talented individuals to complex security and IT security topics in a scalable, digital learning environment that efficiently transfers knowledge, increases engagement, and facilitates collaboration and networking among all participants with experts from industry and science.
HIMA FUN SAFE is using the TriCAT spaces® 3D platform to connect talented people internationally, share knowledge in a sustainable way, and encourage collaboration. The interactive tools make it easy to get participants excited. The methodological and didactic support provided by TriCAT was particularly valuable to us. The combination of technology, educational concept, and direct feedback creates optimal conditions for a global competence network and a scalable format for sustainable development of young talents. Digital tools: Whiteboards, sticky notes, and gamification elements enabled direct exchange and feedback, with realistic full-body avatars.
Immersive 3D environment: Realistic representation of exhibition stands and workshop scenarios for a better learning experience.
